It’s crazy how one act of kindness and quickly turn into something uncomfortable.

25-year-old Hayley Minn, from London and who writes for The Mirror, had to find out the hard way when she lost her purse at Liverpool Street Station after a drunken night out in the city.

You might be thinking losing the purse is bad enough, but nope it gets a lot worse.

Usually when you lose your wallet or purse it’s a proper ball ache; you have to cancel all your cards, re-apply for that provisional driver’s license that you’ve had for about five years and accept the fact that those stamp cards that you’ve saved up at that overpriced coffee shop is gone.

So imagine young Hayley’s joy when she received her lost pursue back in the post six weeks later with everything intact, nothing missing whatsoever. Cause for celebration right? Well it would’ve been in it didn’t come with the world’s creepiest ‘you’re welcome letter’ ever.

The letter started innocently enough with the unknown do-gooder writing:

Dear Miss Hayley, How are you? Hoping you will be fine and well.

I would like to inform you that I found your precious purse (looks like it) by Liverpool street (sic) station. Might you dropped it and looking for it.

Things soon went down an odd path when the letter revealed what the mystery Samaritan found in her pursue. He went through her purse, to find a mailing address obviously, and in the process ‘found some naughty stuff’. By ‘naughty stuff’ he means condoms.

He went on to tell Hayley:

don’t need to feel any embracement (sic) honestly I like those people who take extra care lol.

Kindly check all your belongings and if possible do let me know via email once you received it on [email protected]

That’s an interesting email address, we wonder if that’s the one he uses to email CV’s and job applications with. He goes on further in the letter to assure her that nothing was taken ‘out of the purse and it’s exactly how he found it’.

As the letter goes it gets a bit dark with him saying:

Just a piece of advice kindly look after yourself and all your belongings when [y]ou go out or allow someone else because you are one of the beautiful person I ever seen (I am sure in real you are more beautiful as compare to your picture)

I wish if I can take you out sometime and spend time but I am sure you will definitely have someone in your life who is taking care of you very well otherwise allow me lol :)

Have a good weekend. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require anything or if you think I would be able to do anything for you.

‘Enjoy every single moment of your life and enjoy as much as you can because you never know what is going to happen next :)

The mystery guy (we’re assuming it’s a guy at this point now) signs the letter off as ‘Your Secret Friend or Admirer lol’ and a hopeful ‘Email Friend’.

Unfortunately Fortunately Hayley hasn’t heard from her secret admirer, which is probably a good thing.
