Teen Who Tried To Steal Guy’s Weed Asks Dad To Take Pictures Of Arrest For Facebook

In one of the most 2017 stories ever, an arrested teenager asked her dad to take pictures as police were handcuffing her, just so she could post them on Facebook.

Josephine Garczynski, 18, along with her 27-year-old boyfriend Curtis Britton, were arrested and charged on Wednesday after being accused of trying to set up a meeting with a weed dealer so they could rob him, the New York Post reports.

Through her alias ‘Josephine King’, Garczynski chatted up the victim over Facebook, asking him to ‘meet and hang out’.

Once they’d sorted out a meet, the victim jumped into her car and Britton quickly put a gun to his head and demanded his wallet and mobile phone.

Investigators soon tracked down the pair after identifying her alias on Facebook and soon found her at her dad’s house where she was rather candid about her crime.

According to the criminal complaint, she admitted to the detective that she set up the meeting with the victim for the purpose of stealing his marijuana.

When police went to arrest Garczynski, the teenager asked officers if she could put a bra on first before asking her dad to take snaps of her being handcuffed so she could post them to her Facebook page (presumably after she makes bail).

The 18-year-old clearly doesn’t understand the gravity of the situation, as if she’s convicted as a party to the crime of armed robbery, she could face up to 40 years in prison.

But hey, as long as she has a banging new profile picture that’s all that matters though, right?
