Happy N7 day! After years of scraping up small nuggets of Mass Effect Andromeda news, there’s finally a fulsome new trailer and a ton of info for BioWare’s massive space RPG.
Following a brief teaser video from earlier in November – which encouraged us to join the ‘Andromeda Initiative’ – there’s now an extended video showing off protagonists Scott and Sarah Ryder, as they set out to explore deep(er) space and find the human race a new home.
You can check it out just below.
There’s not exactly a wealth of new info in the trailer, but plenty to get people talking and to whet our appetite before next year’s release date. One of the biggest nuggets however, sheds a little more light on the game’s supposed antagonist Khet, or Kett (people don’t seem to have decided yet.)
Players will be able to choose between siblings Scott and Sarah Ryder in their adventure, while their father (and narrator) Alec Ryder grumbles along for the ride. As a side note, Alec is voiced by the excellent Clancy Brown.
That’s about your lot as far as the juicy stuff is concerned, but there’s apparently a full gameplay reveal heading our way at the VGAs on December 1st.
Mass Effect Andromeda launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 21, 2017.
