Is 19-year-old Sage Northcott the future of the UFC?
The teenage mixed martial artist is already a bit of a sensation. Standing 6’1″ tall, absolutely shredded and looking like the secret sixth member of N-Sync, he’s also a heck of a fighter.
With five fights and five stoppages, his outing against Gage Duhon in June made headlines when UFC President Dana White, who happened to be scouting talent at the Legacy Fighting Championship event, leapt out of his seat with excitement after seeing the youngster’s incredible performance.
Tonight, Northcott (5-0) makes his Octagon debut against Fransisco Trevino at UFC 192 in Houston, Texas and there’s little doubt that the UFC brass will be hoping for an impressive performance from a guy who has all the makings to be a star.
He’s been training in martial arts since he was 4-years-old, which means he can do stuff like this:
His father encouraged him to pursue karate as an infant, and even pushed him to do push-ups and sit-ups from the super young age, which got him started early on the path to being the physical freak of nature and fighting machine he is today!
Seriously, this is what the dude looked like when he was four:

He has better abs then than I do in my mid-twenties. That’s depressing…
And, his prior displays inside the cage suggest that this guy is already pretty well rounded, with impressive displays of striking, wrestling and grappling. He’s won two of his professional bouts by submission and three via TKO.
His punches and kicks look especially brutal:
All those skills will serve him well tonight, as the teenage welterweight becomes the third youngest fighter ever to compete in the UFC.
This guy is definitely one to watch!
