This Is How You Make Microwave Pizza In A Mug
Pizza is the ultimate convenience food: Fact. Especially when you’re skint or incredibly lazy, it’s just what you need in your life.
But this microwave pizza in a mug takes it to a whole new level.
This glorious creation comes courtesy of food blogger Gemma Stafford and it’s so much quicker than ordering Domino’s.
So, put your takeaway menu down, and give this a go – you won’t regret it.
-4 tablespoons all purpose flour
-1/8 teaspoon baking powder
-1/16 teaspoon baking soda
-1/8 teaspoon salt
-3 tablespoons milk
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-1 tablespoon marinara (tomato) sauce
-1 tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese
-5 mini pepperoni
-1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
In a microwavable mug, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together.
Then add the milk and oil before whisking together.
Just spoon and spread on your tomato sauce, then add your dried herbs, cheese and pepperoni and you’re ready to go.
Then blast it in the microwave for 70/80 seconds, or until it rises and the topping is bubbling away.
It’s time to chill and tuck in – you’ve earned it (kind of). Word of warning, you probably don’t want to try this after a night out – it won’t end well.
The recipe been viewed nearly 500,000 times on YouTube and it’s easy to see why. This pizza is just one of five cheeky microwave recipes and you can see them all in the awesome video below:
