This Midnight Skate Through An Empty Paris Is Surreal

Cities almost always look like completely different places late at night. With barely anybody around, no tourists, no open top buses… Things can look at bit surreal.

French skater Tristan Hélias took to the Rue de Rennes shopping district of Paris at silly o’clock in the morning with his skateboard, and it turned out amazing.

Filmed by Jonayd Cherifi and Marin Troude, with a score from Zbigniew Preisner, this short film is called ‘Night And The Soul’.

I’ve never been to Paris, but if I do go, I’ll be sure to walk around at night. It looks amazing.
