TikTok Star's Son Shot Dead Day Before His 19th Birthday

TikTok star Ophelia Nichols has appealed for help after her son was shot dead the day before his 19th birthday.

TikTok star Ophelia Nichols is appealing to her fans for help after her son was shot dead the day before he turned 19.

Posting on the popular social media app, she explained that her son Randon Lee had been murdered the day before his birthday.

Nichols told her seven million followers about her loss and called on anyone who has information about her son's death to speak out.

She also spoke directly to his killer, showing them a picture of her son.

She said her son was shot at an Exonn gas station in their town of Prichard, Alabama, at 7:45pm on Friday (24 June). After being shot, he drove to another gas station nearby but sadly died of his injuries.

Posting a video with a caption that promised the murderer 'will reap what you sow in this world', she wrote: "I hope you see my sons face everyday of your life".

She said: "My son was murdered, he was shot, and I have this hatred in my heart that I don't recognise, because I’ve never felt hate for anybody.

"I know they're out there in my town, they're out there living and breathing when my son's dead. He was just 18 years old. That's the best part of somebody's life, and I know they're out there in my town"

Nichols also directly addressed her son's killer, holding up a picture of her son she implored his killer to look at him.

She continued: "Somebody knows who did this to my child and I'm asking for somebody's help, anybody's help."

Ophelia's TikTok account is usually dedicated to videos of her family or updating her followers with new recipes or responding to questions from her fans.

Her video was met with an outpouring of support from her followers, with many leaving comments to offer their condolences.
