Tom Cruise Is Preparing For His Most Death-Defying Stunt To DateAlamy

Tom Cruise’s latest stunt is set to be his wildest yet, and it’ll take place mid-air.

While filming for Mission: Impossible 8, Cruise is said to be rehearsing his most jaw-dropping stunt yet.

If you’re scared of heights, you might want to look away for this part of the movie.

Cruise was in Cambridge when he was spotted rehearsing the stunt, which takes place 2,000ft in the air.

The actor is also said to have been learning to fly for the new film, as the stunt takes place on a Second World War 1941 Boeing B75N1 Stearman biplane.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, the plane can be seen flying from Duxford Aerodrome as Cruise proceeds to perform the stunt.

Cruise can be seen climbing out of the cockpit onto the plane wing, while it did a loop-the-loop.

The actor was wearing a harness and was dangled upside down from the plane, before climbing back inside.

Filming has been non-stop for Cruise, who, according to a source from the set, has ‘no plans to cut any corners or bring in a stuntman’.

The source added:

Filming has only just wrapped on Mission: Impossible 7 but Tom has not given himself a break. And trying to film jaw-dropping scenes with an 80-year-old plane is particularly dangerous.

Yikes, that makes a kid kicking the back of your plane seat seem reasonable.
