Airline boasts secret feature that fliers are calling a ‘game changer’

Delta Airlines appears to have listened to people's requests

A movie screen is a must-have for any long haul flight, but passengers often encounter the same problem - headphones.

I think we can all agree that there's nothing worse than settling down to watch a film to realize you don't have any wired headphones to plug in.

Adding salt to the wound, some airlines sell earphones onboard the plane - but they usually come at a hefty price.

But, fear not AirPod and other Bluetooth listening device users, some airlines now have the option to connect your wireless earphones to movie screens.

Delta Airlines offers complementary earbuds to passengers, but they're not always the most comfortable of things to sit and binge watch several episodes of New Girl, so the popular airline has since updated its screens so that they're compatible with Bluetooth devices too.

One TikToker recently took to the video sharing platform to share her joy at discovering the new feature.

"ABOUT TIME," Elise Brulotte penned.

"As someone who never bought over the ear headphones I'm freaking out."

She went on to label it as a 'game changer', and many people appeared to agree.

Elise was shocked to make the discovery.

"Thank GOD," one person said, as another added: "It’s about damn time."

Echoing similar sentiments, someone else said: "It’s ABOUT TIME. Didn’t realize these were even a thing until I got on a United 737 MAX and it had this. I was shook."

Meanwhile, one of Elise's followers asked if this was only a feature in first class, but she insisted that it's available everywhere.

Her video was only uploaded yesterday (December 14) and has already been viewed an impressive 595,000 times at the time of writing.

As well as commenting on the greatness of Bluetooth devices now being parable with the screens, others commented on Elise's movie choice of Crazy Rich Asians, labelling it as 'the superior airplane movie'.

But another person's movie choice wasn't applauded quite the same when they opted to watch Magic Mike.

A woman who was travelling from Bali to Australia was watching Magic Mike's Last Dance when she was handed a note by another passenger.

It read: "If you want to accept His offer you may pray this prayer…. Dear Lord Jesus, I realize I am a sinner and I believe you bled and died to pay the price for my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead and you live forevermore. Please forgive me and come into my heart and save my soul. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen."

Well, if watching Magic Mike warrants one of the notes then forgive me Father because I have definitely sinned.
