With the rising cost of tickets, long delays and crowded seating, flying can often feel like a bit of a bum deal nowadays.
Spare a thought though for those on recent a Delta flight, who were forced to turn back after another traveller had diarrhea 'all the way through the plane'.
If being in a pressurised cabin 30,0000ft in the air with this faecal fallout wasn’t bad enough, the pilot even had to make a landing because of this problematic poonami. Take a look below:
Having left Atlanta, the flight had barely been in the air two hours when the unnamed passenger suffered from a rather explosive bowel movement.

It was so bad that the Airbus A350 aircraft was forced to turn back as it flew to Barcelona, with the pilot explaining to Air Traffic Control how the heavens had opened on September 1.
Even more embarrassingly for the unnamed passenger, we would have never known about the issue had it not been for an internet user who uploaded a recording of the conversation to Twitter.
In the brief exchange, you can hear the Delta pilot explaining that they will make an emergency landing back in Atlanta.

“This is a biohazard issue,” he tells air traffic control, adding: “We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.”
Understandably, the identity of the poorly passenger remains a mystery, but other frequent flyers have revealed a few details about the grim getaway.
Reacting to the clip, one Twitter user claimed that their partner had been on the flight and shared that the cabin crew had used scented disinfectant.

Given that they were unable to open a window, you might think this was a pretty good solution but sadly, it didn’t exactly have the desired effect.
“My partner was on that flight! It was pretty bad. It was dribbled down the aisle, and smelled horrible,” the user explained.
They added: “The vanilla-scented disinfectant used on it only made it smell like vanilla s***. “
Thankfully, they didn’t remain in the air for too much longer.

The user tweeted: “After the plane landed, it was thoroughly cleaned. They didn’t leave until around 2:30 am.”
When they touched down in Georgia, the customers and crew were transferred to another flight (Flight DL194) and arrived in sunny Spain nearly eight hours later.
Hopefully, the poorly passenger was able to replan their getwaway.
A Delta spokesperson told Fox News: "Delta flight 194 from Atlanta to Barcelona returned to Atlanta following an onboard medical issue.

"Our teams worked as quickly and safely as possible to thoroughly clean the airplane and get our customers to their final destination. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the delay and inconvenience to their travel plans."
