Tyre Sampson's family is expected to file a lawsuit today after the 14-year-old fell to his death from the FreeFall ride at ICON park.
The family is expected to file a 'wrongful death' lawsuit against the business involved.
While details of the impending lawsuit remain unclear, a press conference is scheduled for tomorrow (26 April) with Sampson's mother, Nekia Dodd.
Sampson died after falling from the ride in Orlando on 24 February.

Footage of the young boy's death circulated on social media, with attorney Ben Crump who is representing Sampson's father, Yarnell, calling the video one of the worst tragedies caught on camera.
"We are doing a thorough investigation into the tragic killing of this 14-year-old child who should have never been killed. We believe this was completely preventable.
"Other than George Floyd's tragic torture video, I think this is the worst tragedy captured on video that I've ever seen."
Investigations into Sampson's death are still ongoing and Yarnell has said that his son believed there might be something wrong with his harness as the ride took off.
Speaking in an interview with WOFL-TV, Yarnell said: "When the ride took off, that’s when he was feeling uncomfortable. He was like, ‘What’s going on?’"

Yarnell added that his son began to panic when noticing his harness: "That’s when he started freaking out, and he was explaining to his friend next to him, ‘I don’t know man. If I don’t make it down, please tell my Mom and Daddy I love them.’ For him to say something like that, he must have felt something."
It is still unclear how Sampson fell from the ride, with Sheriff John Mina saying at a press conference following the tragedy: “Based on all of our preliminary investigation information, it appears to be a terrible tragedy, but our investigation is still open."
ICON park also issued a statement following the incident, saying: "ICON Park said: "Tonight, the ICON Park family is grieving because of the tragedy involving Tyre Sampson. Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family and friends.
