Resurfaced footage of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dancing on television has seen him branded as 'a new favourite foreign leader' amid Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine.
The 44-year-old leader, who was formerly an actor and comedian, has been serving as Ukraine's president since 2019.
Since Russia's invasion of his country four days ago, Zelensky has posted a series of defiant videos in which he states that he is still in Kyiv in the government quarter standing his ground against Russian president Vladimir Putin and 'defending Ukraine'.

However, another clip of the Ukrainian president has also been widespread online, this time, a compilation of Zelensky as a contestant on the country's version of Strictly Come Dancing, called Dancing with the Stars, from 2006.
The video of a handful of Zelensky's best performances while on the show was originally posted to Facebook, before it was re-shared to Twitter by user Kat Abu.

The compilation shows Zelensky in a range of glimmering outfits, shimmying his way across the dancefloor with professional partner Olena Shoptenko, performing an impressive array of dance styles.
From the waltz, Pasodoble, quickstep and even a dance performed while blindfolded, the video proves that Zelensky is clearly a man of many talents.
It's no surprise he went home from the competition as the series champion, The Telegraph reports.
The post has since gained more than three million views and hoards of comments, with users commenting on the video in support of the Ukrainian leader.

'Zelenskyy could ride on a horse shirtless but Putin could never pull off a white striped suit with a matching fedora,' Abu joked.
A comment on the original Dancing with the Stars post stated: 'Wow, a lawyer, dancer, actor, comedian, President & now hero! An extraordinary man in many ways. May God protect him, his family & the brave people of Ukraine.'
Another wrote: 'Wow!!! this makes me so happy. He is incredibly talented and fun to watch. and he is showing extraordinary bravery right now, while being attacked and refusing to leave his country. there are so many sides to him. it's truly stunning.'
Zelensky's active social media presence has played a key role in growing his online support, and revealing up-to-date information and insight into the unfolding situation in Ukraine.

A video Zelensky shared yesterday, February 26, saw the president take to the streets to clear up 'fake information online that [he] called on [Ukraine's] army to lay down arms and to evacuate'.
While Kyiv officials have urged citizens to take shelter away from potential missile strikes and fighting, Zelensky fiercely urged Ukrainians to 'defend our state'. He said, 'Our weapon is our truth'.
