Naughty Dog has just released a massive free update for Uncharted 4’s multiplayer mode, with one of the most notable inclusions being a big new map.
The new map is taken from towards the end of Uncharted 4’s story, taking place in the formerly fancy, now dilapidated land of New Devon.
According to Naughty Dog, one of the biggest pieces of fan feedback is that players want more maps – so, the company is obliging.
In terms of size, New Devon is probably one of the largest maps that Naughty Dog has ever made, featuring a mix of great hiding places for snipers, and all manner of tight corridors for intense shootouts.
This map comes to Uncharted 4 today as part of the game’s 1.12 patch, which also brings a number of minor changes, improvements, and fixes.
These include the player now being able to grab relics by completing and winning matches (before, they had to complete challenges), and the addition of DLC skins to vanity chests, giving players the ability unlock premium vanity items for less.
Starting Friday, September 2, Naughty Dog will also be launching an Uncharted 4 multiplayer sale, with all DLC relic chests marked down as much as 62 percent until Friday, September 16.
You can see a full list of changes from Uncharted 4’s 1.12 update in the patch notes over at Uncharted’s website.
As you can see above, there’s plenty more DLC to come, including a cool sounding co-op mode, and the single player expansion which currently remains shrouded in mystery.
