Chipotle customers attacked an employee after an alleged dispute about an order.
Warrants have been issued for the arrest of two North Carolina natives, who allegedly beat up a fast-food worker earlier this month.
Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said that Jamel Bernard Williams, 36, and Kayla Nicole Pyle, 34, were the two perpetrators wanted in connection to the assault.
It’s claimed that a deputy responded to the Indian Land Chipotle restaurant just after 9pm on December 10.

At the time, the official is said to have spoken with the 20-year-old female employee and various witnesses.
Taking to Facebook, a spokesperson wrote: “According to the victim and witnesses, Pyle entered the restaurant and placed an order.
“A dispute arose about the order, and words were exchanged between Pyle and the victim.”
Queens City News reported that the Chipotle employee had allegedly informed the customer that there would be an additional cost if she wanted to add extra chicken to her order.

The conversation is thought to have escalated into a verbal row and it’s claimed that the hospitality worker decided to end her shift early due to the dispute.
However, as the unidentified woman attempted to leave the building, Williams is said to have entered from the other side of the dining room and approached the victim.

It’s claimed that Williams pushed the woman to the floor and began to assault her - pulling her hair and hitting her.
It's also claimed that Pyle later joined in on the assault and struck the victim before leaving the scene with Williams.
Police said the Chipotle employee sustained injuries during the attack and complained of pain but sought treatment on her own.
Therefore, the current extent of the women’s injuries is unknown to the authorities.

Elsewhere, police said that a third person was also with the pair.
The person in question is a male juvenile however, the relationship between the trio is not known at this time.

In a statement, Sheriff Barry Faile said: “I don’t know what was said between Pyle and the victim, but the victim was leaving for home and was chased down from behind by Williams and attacked in the dining room of the restaurant.

“The assault was completely unjustified. I hope the victim has recovered from her injuries.”
He added: “I appreciate the help we got from Charlotte Mecklenburg PD to identify Williams and Pyle, and I encourage them to turn themselves in and let the judicial system run its course in this case.”
Arrest warrants have since been issued charging Williams with assault and first-degree battery and charging Pyle with assault and second-degree battery.
The arrest warrants for Williams and Pyle were obtained on Wednesday (December 27).
