Donald Trump's mugshot has finally been released, fast becoming the biggest meme of the year.
The 77-year-old handed himself in at Fulton County, Georgia to be formally processed on Thursday (24 August).
He was then charged with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, as well as six conspiracy counts over alleged efforts to commit forgery, impersonate a public official, and submit false statements and documents.

But it's not just the former president's alleged crimes or his impressive pout that has got folks talking, people are also baffled by some wild claims on his jail records.
According to ABC News, Trump reportedly stands at a mighty 6’3″ and weighs 215lbs.
On the face of it, there's nothing too shocking about those numbers. However, when you take into consideration the fact he was said to have weighed 240lbs and was one inch shorter when he was booked in Manhattan back in April, something seems to be a little off.
And plenty of people out there are simply not buying it.

One doubting Thomas wrote: “215? That’s an insane lie. If Trump weight (sic) 215lbs, then I have flowing blond locks past my shoulders.
Referencing the NFL wide receiver, another joked: “Larry Fitzgerald – 6’3″, 218 lbs. Donald Trump – 6’3″, 215 lbs. LIKE HELL."
Journalists were equally incredulous, with MSNBC host Rachel Maddow saying: “The resemblance is uncanny. Even if he fasted, there is no way,”
And even when you go way back to his last physical as president, Trump weighed 244lbs.

But I guess we'll just have to take him at his word, won't we?
Following his arrest, Atlanta criminal defence attorney Steve Sadow, who represents Trump, said: “He is innocent of all the charges brought against him.
“We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open minded jury finding the president not guilty.

“Prosecutions intended to advance or serve the ambitions and careers of political opponents of the president have no place in our justice system.”
This all stems from a phone call made on 2 January 2021 where Trump allegedly urged Georgia's Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, to 'find 11,780 votes' to reverse his loss in the state.
Trump has called the investigation a witch hunt, but agreed to travel from New Jersey to Georgia on August 24 to get his mugshot and fingerprints taken.
After taking his mugshot, Trump was released on a $200,000 bond and headed back to the airport for his return flight home to New Jersey.
