Gypsy Rose Blanchard has said that she hopes to meet Taylor Swift after being released from prison.
Blanchard was sentenced to ten years in prison after she conspired with her boyfriend at the time to kill her mom, Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard.
For years, Dee Dee had created the appearance that Blanchard was a terminally ill child, making her use a wheelchair, shaving her head, and forcing her to take medication she didn't need.

Things came to a head when Blanchard met Nicholas 'Nick' Godejohn online. A plan was carried out and Dee Dee was murdered in 2015.
Blanchard was sentenced to ten years in jail in 2016, and is now due for early release after serving seven years of her 10-year sentence.
Officials have announced that she has been scheduled for release on December 28.
Now aged 32, Blanchard has revealed some of her plans after she is released from jail.

Among them is going to see the Kansas City Chiefs play on New Year's Eve.
Blanchard revealed that she had bought tickets for the match, which has Travis Kelce as its tight end.
Kelce has been in the media spotlight in recent months after it emerged that he is dating pop star, Taylor Swift.

And Blanchard has said that she hopes to meet the musician at the match.
She has said that Swift's lyrics had helped her to process her trauma and the experience of being in prison.
Swift has been on tour for since March this year and will continue the Eras tour throughout 2024. With a show planned for New Orleans in October 2024, Blanchard has said she is planning to buy tickets to see the star perform there.
Alongside the news of her release, Penguin Random House is publishing an ebook which will tell Blanchard's story in her own words.

“Now, granted early parole and preparing to start a new life, she’s free to speak directly to her supporters and the world.”
Blanchard's story has been the subject of numerous documentaries, including on HBO.
Now, a new documentary series will take a look at her life since she was incarcerated, including her prison marriage.

In a trailer for the six-hour series, she said: "After a lifetime of silence, I finally get to use my voice to share my story and speak my truth.”
She added: "As a survivor of relentless child abuse, this docuseries chronicles my quest for liberation and journey through self-discovery,” she says.
“I am unapologetically myself and unafraid to expose the hidden parts of my life that have never been revealed until now.”
