US representative Lauren Boebert was thrown out of a performance of Beetlejuice: The Musical after accusations of 'unruly' behavior.
Boebert, who is both pro life and pro gun, had been attending the show at Temple Hoyne Bell Theater in Denver on Sunday evening.
The 36-year-old representative for Colorado had gone with an unidentified male companion.

Staff at the theater have since accused Boebert and her companion of vaping, singing, recording, and 'causing a disturbance' during the performance, according to reports from the Denver Post.

Ushers at the venue spoke to the pair about their behavior during the intermission and warned them not to continue.

However, only five minutes into the show's second act, they claimed that they had 'another complaint about the patrons being loud and at the time (they) were recording'.
A member of staff at the theater said: “They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.”
In a statement after the incident on Sunday, Ms Boebert's campaign manager, Drew Sexton, confirmed that she had been escorted out of the theater on Sunday evening.

Sexton told UNILAD: “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.’”
Sexton also clarified that Boebert had not been aware that recording in the theater was not permitted.
As for the vaping, he claimed it had been a 'misunderstanding' due the performance using smoke machines and electronic cigarettes.
Boebert has also since tweeted about the incident, saying that she was 'laughing and singing too loud'.

She said: "It's true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!"
The republican representative for Colorado also confirmed that she had not seen the end of the show, adding: "Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!"
It's not the first time that Boebert has gotten into trouble.
Her newly released book My American Life includes one chapter entitled Pretty Little Mugshots and gives her version of events which led to her being arrested, booked, and photographed before she was elected to the House of Representatives.
