Stewart Butterfield's teenage child has been reported missing.
Butterfield, the co-founder of communication platform Slack, is believed to have a net worth of around $1.6 billion, as per Forbes.
His eldest child, 16-year-old Mint, was last seen on Sunday (April 21) at their mother's home in Bolinas, California.
Mint's mom, Caterina Fake, 54, co-created Flickr with Butterfield, 51. She reported Mint missing on Monday (April 22) after the teenager vanished a day prior.

There are now fears that the 16-year-old is in the notorious Tenderloin area of San Francisco - around 30 miles away from their mom's.
Marin County Sheriff's Office has since pleaded to the public for their help in locating Mint.
Deputy K. Walther penned in a statement: "Mint Butterfield was last seen on 4/21/24 at 2200 hours in Bolinas, CA. They were discovered missing on 4/22/24 at 0830 hours. Mint has brown/reddish curly hair and their eyebrows are pierced. They were last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, flannel pajama pants, and black boots. They possibly had a gray suitcase with them. Mint is approximately 5'0" tall and 100 lbs."
The statement continued: "It is believed Mint headed to the San Francisco area after running away.

Mint is the only child to their parents Butterfield and Fake, who wed in 2001. They divorced in 2007 - the same year Mint was born.
Neither of them have publicly spoken out about their child's disappearance.
Butterfield is now married to Jennifer Rubio, the co-founder and CEO of luggage manufacturer and retailer Away.

They tied the knot in 2020 and share two kids together: Oliver, who's almost three, and one-year-old Francesca.
The arrival of their two kids came after some fertility hardships, which Rubio opened up about on Instagram when they announced that they were expecting their son.
"I wanted to leave a short, witty caption but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the whole road to get here: multiple rounds of IVF, an early miscarriage, hundreds of appointments of shots and blood draws and feet in stirrups, and the emotional rollercoaster of it all," she penned in a poignant Instagram post in 2020.

"This s**t was not easy (especially not with this year in the background) but I am beyond grateful that we have had such a privileged, supported journey."
Rubio went on to thank her husband Butterfield 'who turned every injection time into a dance party and iced all my bruises and came to every appointment to make small talk with everyone so I didn’t have to'.
