Two women were injured in a shooting while watching a Chicago White Sox game on Friday (25 August) night.
Police have said one of the women was shot in the leg, while the other ‘sustained a graze wound to the abdomen’.
The 42-year-old woman who was shot in the leg was taken to hospital, while the other woman, 26, refused medical treatment.

The incident, which occurred while the White Sox took on Oakland Athletic, is currently being investigated by Chicago Police.
Chicago Police said in a statement: “This evening during the Chicago White Sox vs Oakland Athletics game at Guaranteed Rate Field, a 42-year-old female victim sustained one gunshot wound to the leg. A 26-year-old female victim also sustained a graze wound to the abdomen.
“The 42-year-old female was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center where she is listed in fair condition. The 26-year-old female refused medical attention.

“Upon receiving notification of this incident, CPD responded immediately and deployed additional resources while coordinating with White Sox security to maintain the safety of those who were in attendance or working at the game. At no time was it believed there was an active threat.”
The game was not interrupted, despite the shooting and ended with the White Sox losing 12-4.
A post-game concert, that had been set to feature Vanilla Ice, was canceled - however an announcement claimed it was due to ‘technical issues'.
A message displayed on the park’s billboard said: "Attention Fans. Due to technical issues, tonight's postgame concert has been cancelled.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Fans holding on-field passes will receive a refund to the original purchaser's credit card."
Game attendee Rod Moyers told ABC Chicago that the cancellation didn’t go down well with fans.
He said: "There was supposed to be a free concert after the game, they came and announced right after the game that it had been canceled. They didn't give any information.

"Everyone started booing, going crazy, and saying derogatory things."
The White Sox released a statement, which read: “Two fans attending Friday's game suffered non-life threatening injuries after being struck by bullets. It is unclear to investigators whether the shots were fired from outside or inside the ballpark.
“The incident continues to be investigated by Area One detectives from the Chicago Police Department. While the police continue to investigate, White Sox Security confirms that this incident did not involve an altercation of any kind.
“Ballpark video of the incident does not indicate any activity prior to the injuries.
