The cast of The Walking Dead have been paying tribute to a stuntman who died after an accident on the show’s set.
John Bernecker died at Atlanta Medical Center on Wednesday evening of blunt force trauma after falling more than 20 feet from a balcony onto a concrete floor, reports Variety.
The stuntman was placed on a ventilator after the accident, but it was turned off yesterday.
AMC announced Thursday that they had ‘temporarily shut down’ production on the show’s eighth season following the tragedy.
According to his IMDB page, John worked on Black Panther, Logan, Fantastic Four, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
The cast have been paying tribute to the John in a series of tweets.
