The debate has been raging on over the past week as to whether Wayne Rooney should become an out-and-out attacking midfielder for club and country.
What Roy Hodgson decides for the Manchester United star at the Euros remains to be seen, but one role we’re certain Wayne should be nowhere near is anything that involves acting.
United’s embarrassing affiliation to X-Men: Apocalypse started with mascots being crudely painted blue, and now Rooney has joined the film’s cast in a priceless advert.

Solid performance from Ryan Giggs there, although he’s probably no stranger to putting on a performance.
I’m also not entirely sure that was really Patrice Evra’s voice, but Wayne…at least he tried.
