A wild and drunken mum went on a frightening rampage into a stranger’s house and beat her up while completely obliterated.
The phrase ‘drunk and disorderly’ seems to be a massive understatement here, as aggressive Stacey Bunyan stormed into a total stranger’s house and proceeded to beat up a teenager, the Mirror reports.
Mum to a 10-year-old girl, Stacey entered the premises which she presumably mistook for her own and started to batter teenager Emily Campbell, even ripping out a clump of her hair.
The out-of-control 30-year-old put her victim in hospital after biting her and kneeing her in the face before falling dramatically down the stairs.
Emily, who is now 20 and studying at University, had to be treated at Paisley’s Royal Alexandra Hospital for her injuries caused by the raging woman, who was on bail at the time for another incident.
We had never seen this woman before in our lives and there she was in our home at two in the morning, refusing to leave.
My mum was recovering from cancer and was in no condition to put up a fight so I tried to get her out the house and she attacked me.
She was like an animal, she pulled out my hair, clawed at my face and even bit me.
I was distraught about it for weeks afterwards.
The former bookies manager, Stacey admitted to attacking Emily in court yesterday.
Fiscal deputy Emma Jeffrey explained how vicious Stacey terrorised her victim as she lay cowering and injured on the floor.
The witnesses were all inside and observed her to be under the influence of alcohol.
She made her way into the kitchen and was asked why she was there.
Emily Campbell observed others escorting her out and went to assist.
At this point, the accused grabbed her by the hair, pulled her down to the ground and kneed her in the face.
This was witnessed by others and they called the police.
They saw the accused tumbled down the stairs and hit her head due to her level of intoxication.
The bizarre, and frankly terrifying, incident occurred after Stacey had spent the night drinking in the pub following her shift.
Intoxicated Stacey believes she was so inebriated, she had no recollection of the situation at all.
She too, was taken to hospital by police for severe swelling and bruising on her face, from where she had tumbled down the stairs.
Her lawyer, Carole Ferguson explained the consequences of Stacey’s crazed actions.
She’s worked in the bookies for 12 years and was a manager.
She hasn’t come away from this unscathed.
She did fall down the stairs and had severe facial injuries.
During her sentencing, Sheriff David Pender ordered the woman to pay compensation for her vile attack on the innocent girl.
This offence was committed while you were on bail.
Any discount you would received for pleading guilty will be cancelled out by this.
In relation to the offence itself, you will be fined £400 and pay £400 compensation to the victim.
What a traumatic situation to be involved in.
Hopefully Emily will make a full recovery.
