Woman Left Shocked After Vulgar T-Shirt Mix-Up

The NSFW T-shirt she received was very different to the one she'd ordered

An online shopping customer was left baffled after a mix-up left her with a very NSFW T-shirt instead of the positive Multiple Sclerosis one she'd originally ordered.

The customer, who goes by PollySmall89 on Reddit, went online to order a T-shirt in recognition of her MS; a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord and cause problems with vision, limb movement, sensation or balance.

The black T-shirt featured a sunflower on a colourful background with the silhouettes of trees visible in the foreground. Around the picture read the phrase 'In A World Where You Can Be Anything Be Strong', and in the centre of the sunflower was a ribbon with the words 'Multiple Sclerosis'.

The Reddit user had originally ordered a t-shirt honouring MS.

Prices for the T-shirt started at $12.88, according to an image the customer later shared on Reddit, but some sort of mix-up in the packing process meant she very much did not get what she'd paid for.

The customer shared an image of what she ended up with, writing: "The shirt I ordered VS the shirt I received."

Rather than the MS-related T-shirt, the customer ended up with a black T-shirt branded with the words, "F**k you you f*****g f**k." The words are actually a quote from the American TV show Shameless, but they're still undeniably aggressive, and pretty much rule out the T-shirt as an option for a lot of public places.

The Redditor shared the post on the 'mildly infuriating' thread, and responded to one commenter to say she was 'so shocked' when she opened the package and saw what she'd received.

"It took a minute of pure confusion, but then I laughed super hard. Overall, exceptionally funny, but also confusing," she wrote.

In response to another Redditor who suggested the MS design was on the other side of the explicit T-shirt, PollySmall89 wrote: "I had that thought too, but no.. although it would have been much funnier if that were true."

Other users also saw the funny side, with one writing: "That’s frankly the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. I want to run a T-shirt site where doing this is the whole business plan."

The Reddit user didn't indicate whether she planned to return the shirt in an attempt to get the one she'd originally ordered or whether she'd simply commit to the item she'd received, but at least if she chooses the latter she'll always have a good conversation starter – if the T-shirt doesn't scare people off beforehand, that is.
