Woman’s 60-Clove Garlic Soup Divides The Internet

A TikToker's soup recipe has faced a confused response after she revealed it contains a whopping 60 cloves of garlic.

A TikToker's soup recipe has faced a confused response after she revealed it contains a whopping 60 cloves of garlic.

Garlic, it can be crushed, smashed, roasted, fried, blended, and more, the possibilities are endless.

The smell of garlic alone is enough to rumble the stomachs and cause a pang of hanger as it wafts around the house, dispelling any vampires in its wake.

However, for some bizarre reason, not everyone has responded with as much joy as I have to a TikToker's recipe for a 60 clove soup.

Liz took to the platform in response to another user who said using '40 cloves seems a little light', instead creating a soup that would certainly be enough to make you want to avoid sharing a kiss with anyone for a good few days after.

Alongside containing handfuls of garlic topped with a drizzle of olive oil roasted at 400°F for an hour, the soup also consists of blended onion, potato and milk, as well as what looks like vegetable stock, thyme and some croutons to finish off the gloriously garlicky masterpiece.

The result is utterly mouth-watering, and the squeezing of the garlic was nearly too much to handle.

The post has since amassed more than 13 million views and thousands of comments. However, not all of Liz's followers were as overjoyed by the recipe as others. One said: 'I farted just watching this.'

Another wrote: 'When this becomes a trend and everyone is panic buying mouthwash and toothpaste.'

A third commented: 'For a second there I thought that I was watching a episode of DrPimplePopper.'

Liz's garlic soup may have proven controversial in the eyes of some, but what left the internet even more divided was a custard pie prank taking place on a New York subway.

TikTokers were also left baffled by an American user's recent attempt to give followers a 'tutorial' in how to make a cup of tea.

60 cloves may be a hefty sum, but at least Liz knew what a kettle was.
