Women Claim They Got Out Of Trouble With Police With Game Of Rock, Paper, Scissors

A TikToker has claimed their group of friends got out of a felony by playing a game with police.

A TikToker has claimed their group of friends got out of a felony by playing a game with police.

You've heard of cash bribes, but what about hedging your bets on whether or not you end up charged with a crime on a childhood game?

A group of boaters have alleged they did just that.

Catch the clip here:

A TikToker who goes by the name 'thickbwoy' – who claims to be a 'MMA fighter and dog dad' – took to the platform to share a video of a group of friends on a boat up alongside another boat full of police.

The video shows a woman leant over the side of the boat, playing a seemingly harmless game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with an official dressed in protective gear, reflective glasses and a flat cap.

In the last round, the woman plays paper, the officer rock, and she ultimately wins.

It may appear to just be another day at sea, but, the official appears to be holding a piece of paper and something that is the same shape and size as an identification card.

The caption also reads: "We got out of feloney with rock paper scissors [sic]."

The video has since amassed more than a whopping 18 million views, two million likes and 6,000 comments, with users having flooded to the post extremely divided.

One user warned that the video could reflect badly on the officials. "This is what gets good cops in trouble.. stop exposing the good ones," they commented.

Another accused the TikToker of making the scenario up, writing: "Secretly there was no felony you just asked to play Rock Paper Scissors."

"And just like that they got away with 4 counts of first degree murder," another joked.

Some TikTokers were concerned about the video 'exposing' the police officers.

However, someone pointed out how problematic the scenario is if the TikToker is telling the truth. "What kind of privilege is this…," they said.

"The rich never gets felonys tell me something new," another said.

A third noted how all of the people on the boat were white. "Results may be fatal depending on users melanin level," they said.

A fourth commented: "I think it only worked because of how she's leaning lol."

The most-liked comment reads: "Folks calm down. The cops were probably just having fun with people. Don’t make assumptions."
