We’ve all had text messages that were meant for someone else. Most of them are just run-of-the-mill stuff.

Not this one though. When a club promoter mistook Danny James Elliott for a DJ in Leeds, rather than point out the mistake, he decided to play along for a while…

Luckily for everyone, Danny (who is definitely not a DJ) posted the entire ridiculously brilliant exchange to Facebook

So apparently I’ve got the same name as a DJ in Leeds and in a case of mistaken identity, I got asked to be the resident DJ every Thursday at the club’s biggest night.

I’ve never ever DJ’d before in my life but I thought I’d go along with it anyway…
