It’s not usually a big deal when a car from a movie is sold on, as they’re usually auctioned off after production has finished. But this one, however, is very special…
Not only was this white Volkswagen Jetta used in the original Fast and the Furious and signed by Paul Walker, it’s also owned by Frankie Muniz of Malcolm in the Middle.
This little beauty will head to the Barrett-Jackson auction block in Scottsdale, Arizona in late January 2016.
No-one really knows why Muniz is selling it, but it seems he’s decided that it’s time for another collector to enjoy owning this bit of Fast & Furious history.
He bought it back in 2002 when he was jut 16 and contains an onboard Playstation 2 (nice), a custom stereo and all the awesome graphics and body kit pieces you will remember from the movie. It’s also been autographed by Paul Walker, Chad Lindberg and director Robert Cohen.
The only real letdown for this supped-up boy racer is its 4-speed automatic transmission, which almost entirely removes all the other cool aspects of this beast.
Still though, it’s pretty fucking awesome.
