In a political sass rampage, Robert De Niro refused to pose for a photo with Arnold Schwarzegger in the knowledge that the republican ex-governor might vote for Donald Trump.
The two Hollywood legends clashed at the VIP cocktail reception for the annual Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Western Regional Gala at the Beverly Hilton.
De Niro made his no-nonsense rejection of Trump supporters very clear on Thursday night, saying to Schwarzenegger ‘If you’re supporting Trump, I want nothing to do with you’.
The paps snapped a few photos of them shaking hands before the Goodfellas star questioned Schwarzenegger on his vote.
Though the Terminator actor released a statement saying he still hadn’t made up his mind about how exactly he would vote, he also posted on Twitter that ‘For the first time since I became a citizen in 1983, I will not vote for the Republican candidate for president’.
De Niro reportedly said:
If you’re not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem.
Arnie reminded voters that ‘it is not only acceptable to choose your country over your party – it is your duty’.
Robert definitely realises the pending doom if Trump gets in… this shit is serious.
