President Donald Trump has fallen fowl of a not-so-little chicken prank on the lawn of the White House.
A giant inflatable chicken with some familiar looking features made an appearance on the Ellipse between the White House and Washington Monument in DC on Wednesday.
The 23-foot-tall chicken was spotted looming over the Presidential residence on a live stream, and it looked to be staging a ‘coop’.
The images quickly sent Twitter into overdrive:

People flocked to see the giant inflatable, which sports a coif of golden hair, whiter than white complexion and wildly gesturing – but oddly small – wings.
The poultry appears to be the Tax March Chicken, which was rolled out to protest at Tax Day events across America in April this year, designed to pressure Trump into releasing his personal tax returns.
Tax March Chicken quickly corroborated accounts with this tweet:
This isn't my first rodeo. I've been all over the country crashing Trump events /1

Tax March Chicken was originally created in China last year to celebrate the Year of the Rooster, but the mascot made headlines after it was compared to the newly elected 45th U.S President.
Protesters were able to order the inflatable chicken online and some are still available on eBay for $500.
They are being sold under the guise: ‘Custom made ten feet portable inflatable Donald trump chicken mascot golden hair.’
Trump was nowhere near the White House on Wednesday as he is currently on vacation at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
But that didn’t stop Tax March Chicken from doing that organic free range protest.
