Love it or loathe it, the fight going down between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather is most likely the biggest fight of our generation.
Throughout all the trash talking I wasn’t interested in the slightest. It felt like a waste of time – but I have to say, after those bestial press conferences I’m starting to look forward to August 26.
As if this battle could not get any more exciting, now our very own Anthony Joshua has pitched in on the fight stating who he believes will be going home victorious.
Speaking to Dontae’s Boxing Nation, Joshua said:
I’m with Mayweather. I’m a fan of the TMT camp.
Everybody only remembers Mayweather from his last 10 fights. He’s had it hard.
But it’s entertainment and Conor knows how to sell a fight but you can’t fuck with Mayweather. He’s done it from the ground up.
That 49-0 record didn’t come out of nowhere.
At the minute Joshua is speaking the same words as the bookies who have Mayweather as a huge favourite for the bout at 1/6.
But as we all know too well, anything can happen inside of that ring and that’s the beauty of it.
