It’s no highly guarded secret that Conor McGregor is going to be staying out of the Octagon for the foreseeable future.
But when McGregor becomes a father for the first time and decides it’s time to get back in the fight just who is his opponent going to be?
Rumours surrounding the Notorious’ return to the Octagon are rife with most leaning towards a potential summer clash against Tony Ferguson, Khabib Nurmagomedov, or possibly even a rematch with Jose Aldo or Nate Diaz, reports the Daily Star.
But one key figure in the UFC world claims that McGregor’s next fight has already been signed and sealed. That man is Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdel-Aziz.
Now before we get onto just who Abdel-Aziz claims McGregor is fighting it’s probably worth pointing out that if he is right then it means McGregor is going after his third world title, just months after becoming the first fighter in the UFC to hold two world titles simultaneously.
With the featherweight and lightweight belts under his complete control, Abdel-Aziz claims that McGregor will be heading to war against none other than Tyron Woodley – the current holder of the welterweight title.

Speaking to MMA Junkie, Abdel-Aziz said:
Let me make a prediction: McGregor’s next fight is going to be Tyron Woodley for the welterweight title. This is the fight that’s going to happen. Every sign is this is going to happen.
Will it happen? I guess only time will tell but one thing’s for sure – it’d be one helluva fight.
Can Conor McGregor, the Notorious mad Irishman make history once again?
