Conor McGregor has done it again. The press conferences may be over but the undisputed king of trash talk isn’t going anywhere.
Now this story all began when McGregor was spotted sporting some lovely Golden State Warriors kit and strangely, that, and that alone is possibly the biggest insult thrown between The Notorious and Mayweather ever.
How so? Well that takes us back to 2010 when Mayweather was involved in a highly publicised domestic violence incident with his then girlfriend, Josie Harris, and ended up spending two months in prison.

Harris later explained that Mayweather attacked her after becoming infuriated because she had been messaging NBA star C.J. Watson.
And who does Watson play for? Bingo. The Golden State Warriors.
Unfortunately however not everybody got the joke, including Warriors player Draymond Green who definitely isn’t team McGregor.
Posting to Instagram, Green wrote:
We rocking with Floyd bro not you… take that off bruh.
In news that will shock absolutely no one, McGregor replied almost immediately, saying:
That’s C.J Watson mate. I don’t know who the fuck you are. No disrespect tho kid, keep hustling and stay in school
Now ask yourself why I’m rocking C.J. when I don’t know or give a fuck about basketball. I dribble heads off the floor. Not a ball. This is no game here kid.
The build up to the battle between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor on August 26 has been possibly the most explosive in history – but trash talking aside, all that really matters is what happens in that ring.
