Fans who have already bought ‘tickets’ for the boxing clash between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have been warned of a huge scam.

People have been purchasing tickets for thousands of pounds, but, official tickets haven’t even gone on sale.

UFC President, Dana White, has posted a picture on Instagram telling people there are ‘no tickets’ for the fight up for sale, and they haven’t even come up with a price yet.

The post read:

A fan told me he bought tix already. I want ALL fans to know that we have not even come up with a price for tix yet and tix ARE NOT for sale yet.

Don’t get fucked by These DIRTBALLS trying to sell tix already. When we announce tix on sale that’s when it’s real.

The long-awaited fight, which will take place on August 26th, between the undefeated welterweight and undisputed champion of the world, boxer Floyd Mayweather and reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor was announced last week.

This will be ‘Money’ Mayweather’s first fight back in the ring after retiring undefeated at an incredible 49-0, when he beat Andre Berto back in September 12 2015.

McGregor’s last fight in The Octagon was against Eddie Alvarez last year on November 12, he won via TKO in the second round, taking him to a fight record of 22-3.
