Footage of UFC light heavyweight star Jon Jones aggressively denying allegations of drag racing has gone viral.
Jones presented with five tickets by Albuquerque Police Department last Thursday for drag racing, exhibition driving, weaving, failing to properly display his license, and modifying his exhaust pipe, reports MMA Junkie.
Jones can be heard in the footage branding the accusing officer a ‘fucking liar’, a ‘pig’, and suggesting the official ‘knew’ he hadn’t been racing his car.

As reported by MMA Fighting, Jones said in his own defence:
I definitely wasn’t drag racing. I got emotional and said some things that I probably shouldn’t have said to a police officer.
I actually have a lot of friends in the department. I doubt that’s the case. I just think this officer in particular was looking for a DWI or something. He was trying to stick with me one of those and once he realized I was sober, I don’t know if he was in a bad mood or whatever, but he was definitely confrontational.
He needed something to justify pulling me over. He fabricated the whole thing that I was drag racing.
Jones added that he is sober and hoping to defeat Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 later this month and complete a historic comeback.
‘Bones’ is widely regarded as the pound-for-pound number one fighter and is currently on probabtion for a driving offense committed in April 2015.
Jones ran a red light in a rented SUV and collided with another car, breaking the arm of a pregnant woman. He pleaded guilty to the charges and avoided jail by committing to 18 months of probation, plus community service.
The UFC released the following statement on the issue:
We are aware of the situation and are looking into the matter. We’ve also been in touch with Jon’s team regarding the matter.
Well, Jones will have the perfect opportunity to work out the stresses in his life on April 23 at the MGM grand.
