UNILAD Football’s Wasteman To Worldie Of The Week

Even though the Premier League took a break this weekend, the FA Cup still provided us with enough drama to tide us through until its resumption.

Spurs made a hash of another cup tilt, Reading caused a slight upset against West Brom and Chelsea put five past what was essentially Manchester City’s development squad.

But who scooped the honour of being this week’s hero? And who would have been best off watching the commercialised competition from the comfort of their living room?

Here’s who we picked as wasteman and worldie:

Worldie: Eden Hazard

Finally, the little Belgian actually done something.

Two assists and a goal against Man City may finally spark Hazard into the kind of form he’ll need if Chelsea are to overcome PSG in the crucial second leg of the Champions League last 16 tie.

In brutal honesty, his free kick was probably the shittest one you’ll see go in this season, thanks to Willy Caballero’s pathetic attempt at saving it.

You also have to consider the fact that he only turned up against City’s under-21 side but still, it’s nice to see Hazard isn’t completely invisible this season.

Wasteman: West Brom Fans

We couldn’t look past the Baggies fans this week, who disgustingly nailed Chris Brunt with a coin as he approached them to throw his shirt into the crowd.

To be fair, if we knew the individual who launched the coin, we’d have had his mugshot as the image.

Fair enough, your team has just lost to lower league opposition but to attack your own player (one of Brom’s longest serving ones as well) is ridiculous.

This kind of behaviour has no place in football.
