The year is 2006; you've just got home from school, but you're ready to head right back into the hallways to follow Jimmy Hopkins as he deals with the various other students in the town of Bullworth.
You spend your evenings completing missions, earning cash and trying to gain the respect of the various groups in the school, squeezing in as much as you can before you're called for tea or told to do your homework.
Fast forward to 2022 and it's clear you were living the dream, probably without really appreciating it, but now one fan of the video game Bully has offered a glimpse back at the good old days by creating a new version of the PlayStation title in the game engine Unreal Engine 5.

A trailer for the fan-made version of the game was released on YouTube by its creator, TeaserPlay, who described it as a 'dream' they 'hope will come true'.
Alongside the video, the creator wrote: “In this video, we are going to imagine a Bully remake - a great nostalgic game that we need now in next-gen graphics.

"We tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this, such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman to create Jimmy Hopkins and Dr Crabblesnitch’s face.”
TeaserPlay stressed the post was 'just a concept trailer to show the power of Unreal Engine 5', making clear they have 'no plans to release this game and [are not] affiliated with any company', but that hasn't stopped people hoping for the real thing.
Following the release of the concept trailer, fans took to Twitter to beg original creators Rockstar Games for a real remake of the beloved Noughties title.
In a post on Twitter, one person wrote: "Rockstar, please please please I beg of you… remake this game or have a Bully 2 the fans deserve it."

Another fan commented: "I want Rockstar to do Bully Remake so badly."
On YouTube, viewers couldn't get enough of the fan-made trailer and sang their praises for the creator, with one fan writing: "This is beautiful, I [...] played [Bully] for thousands of hours, it's one of the best classic Rockstar games.
"I really hope they see this and strive to be better with their remakes in the future."
Given 15 years have passed since Bully's release without sign of a follow up, fans probably shouldn't hold their breath for a new release any time soon. However, we can always hope.
