It’s the news we’ve all been waiting to hear – Netflix has finally announced that you can watch your favourite shows on-the-go.

This is fantastic as it means we can all get our Netflix fix without having to hook up to WiFi and frankly, I don’t think there’s any better news right now.

This fabulous revelation, which Netflix have unveiled today, means that selected content will now be available for you to view at your leisure, however rubbish your internet connection.

As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve also added the option to download selected TV programmes and films with plans to release more in the future.

It’s going to kickstart its exciting new development with its own shows, with plans to include Orange is The New Black, Narcos and The Crown in its download feature.

This little festive offering is now available on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets if they’e at least iOS 8.0 or Android 4.4.2.

So whether you’re flying high or on a remote desert island, you can still get a load of Netflix list and never have to go without again.

Essentially, you can binge all day long, anywhere you like.

Best news I’ve had all day and probably all year.
