Tyler Morgan took to his TikTok page, hitomidocameraroll, to share the iPhone hacks with his 1.3 million followers, who were shocked that they hadn't heard of the shortcuts before.

One of the simple tricks was holding down your camera button to take a video, a faster and quicker way to film videos on your phone, and another was a way to turn your iPhone into a 'one-handed keyboard' to make texting easier.

In the video, the content creator explains seven of the lesser-known hacks for voiceover recording: "You can actually use your search bar as a calculator" as he types a sum in on his keyboard, with the total quickly appearing on screen, eliminating the need to go to the Calculator app.

He shared seven iPhone hacks with his followers.

Morgan also explains something called 'haptic touch' which is a faster way to quickly change app features without having to go into your settings. He explains that this '‘Pretty much eliminates your need to go into the settings menu at all", as you can edit your camera settings, connect to bluetooth and adjust the flash and brightness of your screen in a flash.

Another time saver the ex-sales advisor offers is that you can highlight multiple messages at once by using two fingers instead of highlighting each text, although this only works for text messages and email.

This saves major time as it can be a monotonous task to delete each email individually, but you don't want those spam shopping emails glaring at you and mounting up.

The tech creator also shares a hack, which is the ctrl+z version on a computer, which quickly undoes your typing error without backspacing for each letter.

‘If you ever deleted something by accident, you can always just shake your phone and it’ll give you the option to undo it,’ Morgan said, showing how to shake the phone to bring up an ‘Undo Typing’ prompt.

He also explains that the useful shortcuts can be set to 'default' mode on your phone, he explained within the clip:

"All these settings should be on default, by the way, all you have to do is add them to your control centre."
