GTA 6 leak details reveal 750GB file size and 400 hours of gameplay

The latest leak is not exactly good news for a lot of gamers

A new GTA 6 leak has revealed the game could have a 750GB file size, while also providing a whopping 400 hours of gameplay.

All gamers are well aware at this point how long we have been waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6.

Rockstar Games - the developers of the famed franchise - released Grand Theft Auto V in September 2013, with the tenth anniversary of the game coming later this month.

To be honest, it could still be a few years until we have GTA 6 in our hands, as the game is yet to have an official trailer released - despite the fact that gameplay footage was leaked last year.

However, small bits of information are slowly coming out about the hugely anticipated game, though it is quite hard to believe what is right from wrong.

The last GTA game came out in 2013.

Many rumors have suggested that GTA 6 will take us back to the iconic Miami-inspired location of Vice City, while it will reportedly feature two playable protagonists named Jason and Lucia, inspired by historic crime duo, Bonnie and Clyde.

The latest leak is not exactly good news for a lot of gamers, especially for those who are struggling with storage on their console of choice.

In a tweet shared by GTA 6 News, a leaker on the franchise claims that the next mainline instalment of GTA will demand 750GB of space on release day.

The leaker also says the Rockstar Games title will provide 400 hours of gameplay for players, which will be pretty good good if it can keep gamers engaged and entertained throughout.

However, the massive 750GB of space required to even play it is going to cause problems for a lot of gamers.

For example, the PS5 is advertised as having an 825GB of storage, but 158GB is automatically reserved to system files, leaving just 667.GB for players to use for games.

400 hours of gameplay is good news though...

This rumored GTA 6 file size exceeds that by over 80GB, meaning PlayStation players would need some kind of extra storage device to even run the latest release.

Heck, by the time GTA 6 does release, we may be in PlayStation 6 territory, anyway.

The latest leak comes as GTA fans have been left in disarray as they fear they may have to fork out $150 for the next game.

According to Dexerto, it's believed that GTA VI could be priced at an eye-watering $150 - almost $100 more than its predecessor GTA V.
