Joe Rogan tries to use a bow and arrow to get through the bulletproof Cybertruck

The podcast host bragged about the power of his bow and yet it failed to pierce the sturdy vehicle.

Joe Rogan has tried to use a bow and arrow to pierce Elon Musk's Cybertruck.

The quirky, boxy and technologically advanced vehicle is on the cusp of being rolled out to the masses after years of waiting.

Musk has warned that manufacturing the Cybertruck has been an expensive headache and it has been the biggest reason behind it being delayed.

But he did praise the truck for being very defensible against any sort of attack.

Because it's made of high-grade metal, it can withstand a hell of a lot of bullets.

Musk even did a test where he unloaded a whole Tommy gun magazine into the side of a Cybertruck and found there was no penetration to the inside of the vehicle.

They also used a shotgun, 45mm and 9mm guns to prove the truck can withstand anything.

Joe Rogan was intrigued about how powerful this outer shell was and suggested he do a test of his own.

"Can I try it with an arrow...I bet I can get in there," Rogan asked Musk on a new podcast episode.

"I have a 90 pound compound bow that shoots 520-grade arrows at 300 feet per second with a razor sharp broad head."

He seemed pretty certain he would be able to pierce the side of the truck with an arrow, even though bullets failed to do the job.

Sadly, that 90lb bow was at his home, but he realized he had a slightly less powerful one at the podcast headquarters.

So they decided to give it a whirl.

Musk warned Joe to not shoot the arrow head on to the Cybertruck just in case there is a ricochet.

The podcast host lined up his target and shot the arrow directly into the side of the vehicle.

The arrow caused a spark when it hit the door panel, however it failed to penetrate the hard metal.

The arrowhead was bent and snapped off after hitting the truck and the panel was barely scratched by the attempt.

But hey, it was a good experiment.

If, for some reason, your enemies have used up all their ammunition, you can be safe knowing that they won't be able to get you with arrows next.

Musk said the only part of the Cybertruck's external region that's not bulletproof is the glass.

He revealed that it would be possible to make the panes resistant to bullets, however that would mean they can't be retracted.
