Just in time for the festival season, the new and nostalgic Nokia 3310 is now available for purchase in the U.K. from Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone.
After making its first appearance at MWC (Mobile World Congress) earlier this year in Barcelona, fans of the original Nokia 3310 looking forward to getting their hands on the refresh model can now buy one in the U.K. right now for £49.99
Compared to its predecessor, the new Nokia 3310 is thin, light and as you’d expect, very durable. The only thing missing is the interchangeable cover that most people loved, allowing you to make it your own. Boasting an incredible 22-hour talk-time and month long standby, the Nokia 3310’s is ideal as a backup phone or the device you take to festivals.
Besides calling and texting, you can also take pictures using its 2-MP shooter (you can also save pictures to memory card), listen to music, browse the web using Opera-built web browser on its 2.4 inch QVGA display, and play the original mobile gaming hit Snake, all on a single charge – note that with its new Series 30+ software, Snake has been updated with new graphics.
The new Nokia 3310 is available in four colours – Warm Red and Yellow, both with a gloss finish, and Dark Blue and Grey both with a matte finish. As it’s also a 2G device, you will need to be on a network that still supports 2G, so if you’re on the Three UK network, you won’t be able to use the 3310.
