Ant And Dec Forced To Apologise After Unacceptable Im A Celeb Comments Ant and Dec Inappropriate AITV

Ant and Dec were made to apologise after poking fun at a Bushtucker Trial during the latest episode of I’m A Celebrity.

The mischievous Geordie duo could barely contain their smirks as they took the mick out of the ‘Space Your Fears’ trial, with its Bush Blaster spaceship.

The lads enjoyed a chuckle at the ‘cheap’ and ‘terribly named’ spaceship, suggesting the show was running ‘dry on ideas’.

However, producers of the show weren’t too pleased.

Both Ant and Dec later apologised for their ‘rude’ behaviour, with Ant stating:

Now, we’ve been a bit rude about the trial tonight and the producers had a little word with us during the ad break, so we won’t be doing anymore of that.

Dec agreed:

Absolutely, we won’t be doing it anymore.

The guilty presenters then looked towards the camera and said in unison, ‘sorry guys’.

However, there was still a naughty glint in the cheeky pair’s eyes as Dec deadpanned:

So here it is, the best trial of I’m A Celebrity, already guaranteed a BAFTA, if not an Oscar!

Never change guys.

Their amusement only continued throughout the trial, which involved radio presenter Iain Lee being dangled one hundred foot above the ground, on the rickety-looking Bush Blaster spaceship.

He also had to stick his hand in a creepy crawly red ant nest - all while swinging about in the air. *Shudders*.

Iain - who has a terrible fear of heights - faced his phobia while giving himself audible words of encouragement throughout, such as 'come on, don't drop this one this is a tricky one'.

At one point he even scolded himself for talking, saying, 'Come on, speed up, stop talking'.

Viewers were in stitches as Iain candidly confessed:

Oh I tell you what, this doesn't half chafe on my testicles!

Despite the discomfort to his nether regions, Iain obtained each of the eleven stars securing a kangaroo tail feast for his campmates.

44-year-old Iain has also shown heroism in other ways during his time on the show, talking openly about his shyness and mental health issues in a way which has really resonated with viewers.

One person tweeted:

Iain Lee - respect for talking about anxiety and chronic shyness. Honesty is way more admirable than saying men shouldn't cry!

Another said:

I never thought I’d say this but I relate so much to Iain Lee. What he said about shyness coming across as arrogance resonates with me so much.

Ant and Dec may be in the producers' bad books, but viewers of the jungle-based reality show are loving their silly sense of humour - which really is the magic ingredient to the long-running series.

One person commented:

Ant n Dec crack me up, never ever stop presenting I'm a celeb fella's.

While another said:

I love everything they do.

Its great to see Ant and Dec back presenting together again - order has been restored in the telly universe once more.
