2017 – a year of blind hope, harrowing regret, and distraction from fear of world doom. What better way to distract ourselves than with a fresh batch of Netflix Original Series’.
Stranger Things season two, Star Trek: Discovery, and Marvel’s The Defenders, are among the entertainment company’s upcoming original content, reports The Mirror.
Following the highly celebrated news that Netflix will allow users to download their content to watch offline, their new shows are likely to be consumed on a whole new level.
2016 will be a pretty difficult year to beat in terms of Netflix Originals, with the likes of The Crown, House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black.
We have well-placed faith that Netflix will fit the bill of accompanying our chill – and here is a full list of what we have to look forward to:
January 6 – One Day at a Time
January 13 – A Series of Unfortunate Events (season one)
February 3 – Santa Clarita Diet
March 17 – Marvel’s Iron Fist (season one)
2017 – Dark (season one)
2017 – Dear White People (season one)
2017 – Girlboss (season one)

One to really look out for is Netflix’s latest original film, Barry, which looks at President Barack Obama’s arrival in New York in 1981, and his fascinating journey.
With so much new content, there’s really no need to venture from the safety of your quilt.
