Have you been drawn into the 2018 Love Island world? Do you feel like you know the contestants, and just want to give them your opinions on everything they do? Well you might just be able to, because you can still apply for this year’s series.
The hit show started earlier this month, (Monday June 4), and captured the attention of millions of viewers across Britain.
In fact, the launch episode of the show awarded ITV2 their biggest overnight viewing figures since records began, with a peak of 3.4 million.
Well it turns out, you don’t have to sit at home and yell your opinions about Adam and Rosie, or Eyal and Hayley, because you could be jetting off to the villa in Mallorca to be a contestant!
If you’re 18-years-old or above, and more importantly, looking for love, then ITV2 are ready for you!
This means you could be one of the singletons who live it up in a villa – for up to eight weeks, depending on how far you get – taking part in ‘couplings’ as well as challenges in an attempt to be crowned the winning couple.
Did I mention there’s a cash prize…
If you’re one of the lucky people to join the party a tad late, then be prepared – you might get partnered with another contestant without having a choice in who it might be, or worse, you may have to steal someone’s partner!
Therefore, you might have to win over the friendship of a suspicious jealous partner, or fill the hole of someone who’s recently been voted out. It’ll probably be chaos, but I’m sure it’ll all be worth it in the end!
Of course, you have to meet ITV2‘s terms and conditions, so if you’re going to apply, make sure you read the small print!
Obviously, you also have to have your summer totally free in order to live in the villa with your new best friends/lovers.
If you tick all of these boxes and are up for a summer you probably won’t ever forget, then it sounds like you’re ready for a summer of sun, fun, drama, and hopefully romance.
Applications close on July 13, so you’ve got a few weeks to figure it out!
ITV2 state the kind of people they’re on the hunt for on their website, and explain the premise of the show for potential contestants:
ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of a summer of love.
The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another – but to remain in paradise they must also win the hearts of the public.
If you’re desperate to get into the villa and ‘play the game’, then what are you waiting for!
Love Island won’t be around forever….(until next year no doubt but that’s miles away at the moment)!
