Actor Michael B Jordan really got into his latest role.
While filming for Creed – a Rocky sequel where he plays Apollo Creed’s son Adonis – Jordan, 28, decided to turn down a stunt double.
He might have regretted that in rehearsals with former light heavyweight world title challenger Tony Bellew, who plays world champion Pretty Ricky Conlan in the film, the Daily Mail reported.
The actor took a punch from Bellew, and got knocked out for real.
Jordan’s co-star and original Rocky Balboa, Sylvester Stallone, tweeted a video of the incident:

In the film Rocky Balboa, the former World Heavyweight Champion, becomes the trainer and mentor of Adonis, the son of his late friend and former rival Apollo Creed.
