The Christmas season isn’t exactly the easiest time to go easy on alcohol.

I mean, wow, everywhere you look: booze. Booze here, booze there. And that’s just suburbia. If you live or work in a city, you’ll find it’s near-impossible to walk a yard without ending up with a cup of mulled wine in your hand. Whoops!

In a bid to test her husband, one woman went out and bet that he couldn’t go till Christmas drinking just one glass per night. £100.

Reasonable? Well, according to Jamie Stokes, 27, it was. He gladly took up girlfriend Chloe Woodland’s offer and the results were hilarious.

Posting a video of how he was getting around the limitation, Jamie said:

Apparently I’m drinking too much. Way too much, apparently.

I made a bet with her on Monday. If I can just – If I can stop drinking and just drink one glass and one glass only up until Christmas, I’ll have £100.

So it got me thinking: ‘F***, can I do it? One glass a night f***ing up until Christmas? Ooh it’s a long time.’

‘Aaah, f***ing got it!’ So I went into Tesco today didn’t I? Bought myself a new f***ing glass.

£100 bet with the misses I will stop drinking! Ahhh fuck off I wear the trousers in this relationship love! 😂🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

He then spins the camera onto a big bugger-off glass full of booze.

He beams:

Seven pints here old boy. Seven cans of Magners in this bad boy.

My missus burst out laughing when she seen it. Well, she only said one glass – she didn’t say what glass.

Did he manage to finish it? Pretty much.

He said:

I struggled to finish it to be honest – there was still some left in the bottom.

It was a little bit too much – but she did say one glass, so I’m still on my way to getting that £100.

Amazing work. Hats off, Jamie.
