Katt Williams is determined to have the last word in the ‘getting beat up by a kid’ debacle.
It all started earlier this week, when the 42-year-old troubled comedian hit the headlines for starting a fight with a teenager and losing.
Then the kid from the fight, 17-year-old Luke Wash, spoke out about the incident, and a longer version of the fight video was uploaded.
And now Katt has used the incident in one of his stand-up shows, to tell the world he definitely didn’t get ‘choked out by a strong teenager’.
During his set at the Barclays Center in New York on Friday night he went into detail about the incident, claiming the whole thing kicked off because Wash was saying some ‘slick shit to grown-ass men’.
Katt says he wasn’t looking for a fight, but when the kid came up to him he knew something was going to happen. He explains in the video:
I said, ‘Hey, you know y’all can’t win this game, so why would you say fuck me?’ He said, ‘Well what you going to do about it?’ I said, ‘Listen, you know I’m in trouble with the motherfucking law, you see all these people recording. But just understand if I can take your ass around this motherfucking corner, I’ll explain to you, you don’t talk to grown ni**as like that.
Katt also claimed he wasn’t put in a choke hold, and challenged the audience to come at him (bro) to prove it:
If you watched that video and really think I was getting choked out by a strong teenager then why don’t you catch me when I’m out in public YOLO’ing? Put your little fragile-ass arm around my neck and why don’t you choke me to sleep, ni**as?
So there you go. Hopefully now this whole thing will be put to sleep, like it looks Katt was in the video…
