People Are Worried About Conor McGregor After Bizarre Instagram Post
Fans have expressed concern for Conor McGregor after he uploaded a highly unusual video of himself to Instagram.
The video in question shows a shirtless McGregor winking away in a bathroom while chuckling, ‘Fresh. You the man. You the mannn!’ in what appears to be an impersonation of an American accent.
Evidently amused by his own antics, the 30-year-old begins to laugh uproariously, spinning the camera around so viewers can see he’s actually complimenting himself.
Many of his fans were giggling merrily right along with him, praising the mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter as their ‘hero’ and the ‘real man’. However, others were apparently just too worried about him to join in with the jokes…
Some people alleged his defeat to Khabib had sent him into some sort of downward spiral, while others accused him of being intoxicated.
One person frowned:
Going crazy after Khabib f*cked his face up… Feel sorry for you mate. [sic]
Too much dust.
However, others rushed to defend McGregor, arguing how he was actually just having a laugh and living his best life.
Some even agreed how the compliments he’d lavished on himself were completely justified, given his success and talent.
One person said:
Why does everyone say he’s crazy or on drugs when he posts stuff like this? The man is enjoying life.
Came from nothing now goes everywhere in Rolls Royces, private jets, lives in mansions, wears the best clothes, etc: damn right I would look in the mirror and would do the same thing. [sic]
He’s taking time to congratulate, and you’re taking time to hate. Go figure…
This Instagram post comes on the same day McGregor called out ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong for dismantling the UFC flyweight division.
In a heated Tweet, the fiery Irishman wrote:
You must now take all the 125lbers that have been let go, Chatri. [sic]
You talk all of this Martial Art and respect talk, yet your greed has directly cost more than half a fighting division it’s chance to earn income for their family.
Have respect @YODCHATRI.
Sign the division.
Fair play to McGregor for taking the time out of his day for some self appreciation and for standing up for his fellow fighters.
