Someone Has Created A Harry Potter Peep Show Crossover And It's HilariousChannel 4/Warner Bros.

Fans of both Harry Potter and Peep Show have been treated to the ultimate form of entertainment, as one creative TikToker has created a crossover between the two.

The scene in which Harry, Ron and Hermione meet on the train to Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is an iconic moment in the fantasy story, marking the start of an epic adventure for the three young students.

Swap Harry with David Mitchell’s Mark Corrigan, and the scene becomes even more iconic. But don’t worry if you’re struggling to place the socially awkward, foul-mouthed Peep Show character into the beloved children’s film, because one TikToker has done it for us.

Check it out below:

The hilarious, if slightly inappropriate, scene has been created by TikTok user @pianobyear, whose bio explains that they ‘take old stuff and mash it together with other stuff to make new stuff’.

In this particular case, the ‘old stuff’ is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. The ‘other stuff’ is the beloved Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, which tells the story of two dysfunctional friends who share a flat in Croydon, South London.

Though both Harry Potter and Peep Show have scenes that take place in London, there really aren’t many similarities between the titles. As a result, a crossover of the two isn’t exactly the most natural thing in the world, but that just makes it all the more brilliant.

The video shared online sees Mark sitting on a train and responding to both Ron and Hermione as if they’re talking to him, instead of Harry. The clip starts with the ginger-haired wizard asking Mark whether he can sit with him, to which Mark responds by shooting an unimpressed look at Jez.

Where Harry was nothing but polite and generous, Mark is entirely unaccommodating as he tells Ron to ‘f*ck off’ when he introduces himself.

Things don’t get much better when Hermione enters the scene, asking if anyone has ‘seen a toad’ because ‘a boy named Neville has lost his’. When she asks ‘Mark’ whether he’s ‘doing magic’, he hits back with the less-than-friendly response, ‘I’m sorry, what the f*cking hell are you talking about?’ before telling Hermione, too, to ‘f*ck off’.

The creator of the video was applauded for the impressive crossover as they racked up thousands of likes, with viewers describing the scene as ‘brilliant’ and ‘amazing’.
