There’s Been A Disturbing Development In The ‘Dear David’ Ghost Story
If you’ve been on the internet over the past few days then you’ll probably have heard of ‘Dear David’, an account of an NYC man’s creepy as fuck haunting.
Basically, a fellow named Adam Ellis started having dreams about a boy with a big dent in his head.
Things began taking a creepy turn when he managed to converse with David, and asked him some questions.
Adam was extremely creeped out and even after he moved to the flat upstairs, things didn’t get any better…
His cats weren’t best pleased with the new flat, and every evening, bang on midnight, they sit at the front door and stare.
He’s been causing quite a stir on Twitter because it seems so legit and is really creepy.
Adam told UNILAD:
David started appearing a couple months ago in dreams, but I think he’s starting to cross over into the real world.
I wanted to write everything down just so I have a record of it in case things escalate and get worse.
I’ve never really believed in ghosts, but I never really ruled it out, either. I think there’s a lot we don’t know.
When it first started happening, I told my friends and coworkers about it, and they were all really creeped out about it.
They’re always asking me for updates, but David seems to appear sporadically.

Now you’re all up to date, it seems that there’s been a couple of updates on the haunting of Adam Ellis.
Adam has been documenting his latest hauntings, and braved taking a photo of the outside of his front door to see what his cats were all bothered about.
And he seems to be pretty sure that there is something there.
Judge them for yourself, but I’m pretty sure it’s just an odd reflection from the phone camera.
Things have taken an even weirder turn when Adam tweeted a selfie telling his new hoard of followers that he was getting out of his haunted flat for the weekend.
Little did he know that the silhouette of Dear David was standing right behind him in the glass to his door.
Twitter freaked out, and people were seriously getting ready to send exorcists round to the flat. Again, not entirely convinced on this one, but I definitely wouldn’t be best pleased if I was living there.
On recommendations from his Twitter followers, Adam has started recording his sleep, to check for any strange noises.
He thinks he’s found some really interesting sounds that resemble footsteps, cracking, and maybe even a groan.
The static really is weird, considering it’s not present in the other two clips. It’s something that might be explained away by phone signals or any other type of signal.
The steps are indistinct and could really be anything.
I am trying to be rational here, but all I can think is ‘NOPE NOPE NOPE’!
